Perched on the upper floors of Park MGM, The Reserve at Park MGM — known as NoMad Las Vegas until December 2025 — is our boutique pick in the Las Vegas hotel comparison. It’s a hotel-within-a-hotel with its own entrance, lobby and elevators, and a dark, residential mood that feels a world away from the casino floor below. Here’s the full picture: the rooms, the dining and how close the Strip’s big venues really are before you book.

🏨 The Rooms
Designed by Jacques Garcia, the interiors lean on dark wood, hardwood floors and a Paris-townhouse feel rather than Vegas glitz. Room types on Expedia start with the Classic King at about 406 square feet and step up through the 528-square-foot Atelier to the 700-square-foot Grande Suite, while the Salon Double (about 690 square feet) sleeps four with two queen beds. Guests consistently describe the rooms as quiet and comfortable, with pillowtop mattresses, down comforters and separate sitting areas.
💡 Insider Tip: Some booking sites and older guides still list this hotel as NoMad Las Vegas. It’s the same property, so search both names when comparing prices.

🍽️ The Library, the Pool & the Rename
The signature space is The Library, the former NoMad Library, a restaurant and bar lined floor to ceiling with roughly 25,000 books and finished with velvet banquettes. The Reserve Bar (the old NoMad Bar) sits alongside it, and the Terrace Pool (the old NoMad Pool) gives guests a private pool area, with cabanas available for a surcharge. A full-service spa and a 24-hour gym are listed too. On-site dining is a short list, and some reviewers call it limited, but Eataly is a two-minute walk and Park MGM’s restaurants are just downstairs.
MGM Resorts made the name change official on December 17, 2025, as part of its licensing partnership with Marriott, which explains why the NoMad-branded venues were renamed at the same time.
💡 Insider Tip: Compare the total price, not just the nightly rate. At last check, Expedia listed a resort fee of about $56.69 a night, paid at the hotel and covering Wi-Fi, fitness center access and phone calls.
🗺️ The Area: Center Strip
The hotel sits on the south end of the Center Strip, so the walking distances are the real selling point: Dolby Live is about a one-minute walk, T-Mobile Arena and the MGM Grand Garden Arena about three, The Cosmopolitan about eight and the Fountains of Bellagio about ten. The airport is roughly a ten-minute drive, and the MGM Grand monorail station is a 13-minute walk.
💡 Insider Tip: The Reserve has its own check-in and entrance, separate from Park MGM’s main lobby, so head for the hotel’s own entrance rather than the casino registration desk.
